VII Regional Olympiad on the History of Kazakhstan among 11th Grade Students “Turkic World: Past, Present and Future”
On April 19, 2024, the VII Regional Olympiad on the history of Kazakhstan among 11th grade students “The Turkic World: Past, Present and Future” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University.
The Olympiad was organized by the Department of Law and International Relations as part of the 30th anniversary of the Kazakh-American Free University.
The following prizes are available:
1st place – grant from the President of KAFU, academician Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziev;
2nd place – 50% discount on tuition at KAFU;
3rd place – 30% discount on tuition at KAFU.
The regional Olympiad took place in the form of solving tests, logical tasks, answering a live question, and solving a crossword puzzle. All tasks were compiled within the framework of medieval, modern and contemporary history and culture of Kazakhstan.
67 students of 11 grades from schools in the East Kazakhstan region took part in the Olympiad.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the following participants took prizes:
1st place – Yernar Yesbol (“East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum “Bilim-Innovation” for gifted children of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk”);
2nd place – Shyryn Ryskhan (“Shokan Ualikhanov School-lyceum No. 3”);
3rd place – Yerzat Myrzabek (“East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum “Bilim-Innovation” for gifted children of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk”).
