Visit to Turan-Astana University

On January 9, 2026, Saveliy A. Muzhchil, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law and International Relations and Head of the Legal Clinic at KAFU, visited Turan-Astana University.

On this day, the university hosted an international scientific conference dedicated to the 80th birthday of Urak Zh. Aliyev, Vice President of the Turan Educational Corporation, Doctor of Economics, and Professor at Turan-Astana University. During the event, Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev, President of KAFU and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented the celebrant with his books “The Rector – the Conscience of the University” and “My Choice.” During his visit, Saveliy A. also held working meetings with Mirgul M. Narbinova, Dean of the Higher School of Law and Humanities, and Rita A. Barsukova, Head of the Department of National and International Law. During the talks, prospects for further cooperation between KAFU and Turan-Astana University were discussed.
