Work within the Framework of the Project “Practical Fundamental Trainings in Journalism and Digital Literacy for Rural Youth in Kazakh Villages”

Within the framework of the project “Practical Fundamental Trainings in Journalism and Digital Literacy for Rural Youth in Kazakh Villages”, our team, consisting of a professional journalist Erik Abitov and two talented students – Aidana Okassova and Eldar Mukhametzhanov, is again on the way to meet schoolchildren from the East Kazakhstan region – Ridder and Shemonaikha. Fundamentals of journalism, confident use of social media, internet literacy, and a hands-on session on creating reels are what students learn in an interactive manner that enhances their social and professional skills in today’s world.

The project is funded by the US Embassy Small Grants Program and the KAFU Alumni Association.
