Working Meeting of KAFU Management with a Delegation from the People’s Republic of China and a Representative of the SCO

The Chinese delegation included Ms. Wang Yuqian, a representative of the SCO, Mr. Li Dongwu, Vice-Rector of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, as well as a representative of the management of Xi’an Aviation Vocational and Technical College.

KAFU was represented at the meeting by Rector Aidar Y. Mambetkaziyev, Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Education Development Yulia A. Gavrilova, Director of the International Cooperation Department Serik M. Abilov, as well as the Staff Manager of the President of KAFU Botagoz A. Umitchinova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of education and science. Particular attention was paid to the development of joint educational programs and the organization of advanced training courses in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle control. The meeting participants also considered the possibilities of studying specialized software necessary for the effective operation of drones, as well as the exchange of experience between teachers and specialists in this field.

The management of KAFU emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership and expressed confidence that joint initiatives will open new horizons in the training of highly qualified specialists in demand in one of the most promising areas of our time.

The meeting was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, which was evidence of a mutual desire to develop international dialogue and educational interaction.
