Working Meeting within the Framework of the «School-College-University» Project

On November 16, 2022, representatives of the Kazakh-American Free University, Adviser to the Rector Nataliya Nesterenko and Head of the Marketing and Admission department Azamat Berdibekov took part in the work of the next working meeting within the framework of the city project on early career guidance “School-College-University”, which was held on the basis of the “Profile School” of the Department of Education in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk of the Department of Education of East Kazakhstan region.

The event was attended by vocational guidance teachers of educational organizations of the city, representatives of universities and the center of vocational education of East Kazakhstan region.

During the meeting, issues of interaction in the «School-College-University» system were considered, as well as information was provided on the following topics:

– Rules for admission to colleges;

– UNT-2022: features, subjects, terms;

– Features of the choice of specialized subjects UNT;

– Factors influencing the choice of profession.

The career guidance event was attended by experts from the Altynsarin National Academy of Education, Nogaybaeva G.A. and Temirbaeva M.Zh. and chief specialist of the education department of the East Kazakhstan region Khalelova R.M.

The experts noted the importance of conducting early career guidance and took part in the discussion of the specifics of the activities of career guidance teachers.
