Workshop “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence: Basic Concepts and Principles of AI Operation. Application in Literature Classes”
On October 11, 2024, a workshop was held at the Kazakh-American Free University dedicated to applying alternative reality technologies in literature classes. The workshop participants were teachers of Russian language and literature, Kazakh language and literature, and students of educational programs in the specified training areas.
The speaker of this event, Didar Muratuly, head of Oskemen Hub, discussed with the participants the possibilities of artificial intelligence technologies in creating artistic images (using the works of Alexander Pushkin as an example), compiling presentations, and test tasks. The participants “brought to life” some of Pushkin’s poems, and also “painted” his portrait based on the ideas provided by the neural network.
The master class was held in the format of a lively discussion, and the basis of the discussion was the question of whether artificial intelligence helps or hinders the perception of works of fiction and the recreation of images of poets and writers of the past. All participants received a certificate. The minutes can be found here.
We thank all participants and wish them creative success!
