Academician Y.A. Mambetkaziyev Holds a Motivational Meeting with Students of the Civil Servant Retraining Course

On June 18, 2026, the East Kazakhstan Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a motivational meeting between participants of the retraining program for civil servants and Yerezhep Alkhairovich Mambetkaziyev, President of Kazakhstan-American Free University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, and Honorary Rector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event focused on leadership, professional development, the role of education, and service to society. Participants included civil servants undergoing retraining to further enhance their effectiveness in the public administration system.

Opening the meeting, Zhanar Kalikanovna Bukanova, Director of the East Kazakhstan Branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, highlighted Yerezhep Alkhairovich’s significant contribution to the development of national education, science, and human capital. During the event, attendees were shown a video presentation dedicated to the life journey, scientific achievements, and managerial activities of the distinguished scholar and public figure.

In an open dialogue format, Academician Y.A. Mambetkaziyev shared his vision of modern leadership, spoke about the qualities required of leaders in a rapidly changing world, and emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, self-development, and responsibility to society. Particular attention was paid to the competencies that civil servants need today to succeed professionally and make effective managerial decisions.

The second part of the meeting focused on strategic issues related to the development of education and human resource training in Kazakhstan. Yerezhep Alkhairovich shared his views on the future of higher education, the formation of the country’s intellectual potential, and the creation of conditions for attracting talented young people and innovative projects. He also emphasized the role of universities in preparing future leaders and developing human capital.
