American Program PROM at KAFU
On May 22, 2025, the Kazakhstan-American Free University hosted a festive Prom party for all students in the American program at KAFU. This event gave students an opportunity to experience activities held during a traditional American prom. This included many games and fun activities in English. Many of the activities were used to congratulate graduates of the 4th year of the American Program. As such, the main stars of the evening were the 4th-year graduates, but the celebration also welcomed underclassmen, faculty members, and university staff.
The American Program at KAFU is a unique program where students study many of their subjects in English, with both local and foreign teachers, and where students have access to a number of educational opportunities in the USA.
The host and emcee for the evening was Daniel Ballast, Vice President of KAFU for International Relations and Programs. The graduates were also greeted with congratulatory speeches from Zhasulan Baikenov, First Vice-Rector of KAFU, and Galina Menzyuk, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Law, and Pedagogy, along with other KAFU staff and teachers.
They congratulated the students on completing an important life stage, thanked them for their active participation in university life, and wished them confidence in the future and professional success.
The party was a true celebration of gratitude, friendship, and warm memories of the best years of student life at KAFU.
