The developed author’s program aims to provide an in-depth study of the literary heritage of the Katon-Karagay district, which is famous for its outstanding cultural figures. After all, they are the “children” of the Great Altai, with its amazing nature and mysterious history. Poems by Myrzabek Kabulov, Bakhytzhan Raiysova, Akhtan Nurbayev, works by Alibek Askarov, Oralkhan Bokey are truly instructive works that deepened the level of understanding of our native literature, raised its artistic and aesthetic level.

The program includes both theoretical and practical materials aimed at schoolchildren and students interested in the history and literature of their native land.

The presentation of the program was held in the format of a seminar, at which the author spoke in detail about the key figures of the region: their lives, work and influence on the development of Kazakh and Russian literature. Attention was paid to both classical and modern authors, whose works reflect the unique cultural identity of the Katon-Karagay district.

“My program is aimed at introducing young people to the literary heritage of our region, helping them understand how important the contribution of each writer and poet is to the overall picture of Kazakhstani literature. We must protect and preserve this cultural layer, because it contains the history and soul of our people,” noted Kuralai S. Saparbayeva.

The presentation included a discussion during which students and teachers shared their impressions of the importance of literary works related to Katon-Karagay for the formation of national identity. The participants also discussed the possibilities of integrating this program into school and university education so that new generations could not only get acquainted with the works of local authors, but also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving literary traditions.

The program aroused great interest among the audience, and following the presentation, recommendations were given for its further implementation in the educational process, as well as publication in the publishing house of the Kazakh-American Free University. In the future, it is expected that the program will become part of literature courses, and will also be used to conduct thematic lectures and scientific research on the literary heritage of Eastern Kazakhstan.
