“Developing Digital Competencies: KAFU Masterclass on AI for Kazzinc Employees”

On May 21, the Kazakh-American Free University held a vibrant online masterclass, “AI in Work and Life,” for the Kazzinc Youth Council. The class brought together approximately 70 participants and focused on the practical use of artificial intelligence and digital tools in work and personal life.

Over the course of two hours, Kazzinc employees learned about the potential of AI for improving personal productivity, teamwork, and digital skills development.

Participants worked in a hands-on format in Microsoft Teams: they tested services, asked questions, and learned from real-world case studies.

KAFU speakers demonstrated how to:

– use AI for task planning, time management, and combat procrastination;

– create content for Instagram and TikTok using modern services – from concept to finished Reels;

– integrate AI into work processes: preparing texts and documents, creating presentations, analyzing information, and automating routine operations.

Participants learned about popular tools: ChatGPT and Perplexity for generating texts and ideas, Trello for visual task management, Gamma for creating presentations, NotebookLM for working with documents and knowledge, and CapCut and ElevenLabs for creating dynamic video and audio content.

Particular attention was paid to Claude’s capabilities for in-depth document analysis, working with large texts, and preparing structured analytical materials.

This format allowed participants not only to learn about the capabilities of AI but also to immediately see how it can help Kazzinc specialists solve real-world problems. The master class was led by experts from the Kazakh-American Free University:

Zhassulan Y. Baikenov, First Vice President of KAFU, PhD

Natalya A. Moshenskaya, Manager of the KAFU Research Department, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology

Aigerim M. Ismukhamedova, Director of the KAFU Digitalization Center

KAFU expresses its gratitude to Kazzinc for its trust, openness to innovation, and strong interest in developing the digital competencies of its employees.

We are pleased to continue our collaboration and share our experience in artificial intelligence, digitalization, and modern educational practices.
