Dual Education: Step Toward Students’ Professional Development

Dual education is a form of training in which students acquire theoretical knowledge at a university, while the practical portion of their studies takes place at a partner institution. Through dual education, students gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of their future profession and can evaluate the validity of their professional choice. This also enhances their readiness for future employment.

At the Kazakh-American Free University, dual education is implemented in accordance with modern educational requirements. In the 2025-2026 academic year, third-year students in the 6B01301 “Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education” program are mastering elements of dual education at “Secondary Multidisciplinary School No. 37.”

The training is supervised by primary school teacher Anastasia K. Pravdivtseva. During the course, students consolidate their theoretical knowledge, become familiar with regulatory documentation, and master modern teaching methods and techniques in primary school.
