First Steps into Big Business: Guest Lectures for KAFU Freshmen!
The Entrepreneurship Center at the Kazakh-American Free University continues to inspire students to launch their own projects and master key business skills from the very start of their studies.
From September 14 to 16, 2026, a series of exclusive guest seminars was held for first-year students, covering topics such as investments, smart investing, entrepreneurship, and modern business.
The guest speaker was Jim Simons, an expert with extensive practical experience.
The seminars explored what to invest in and how to do so during the early stages, as well as how to make resources work for you.
The sessions were conducted as an interactive dialogue: freshmen did not merely listen to theory but also analyzed real-world case studies and asked practical questions.
Jim Simons noted the students’ high level of engagement and their eagerness to view familiar concepts from a fresh, entrepreneurial perspective.
