Guest Lecture by an Attorney from the Kyrgyz Republic

On November 2, 2026, as part of the “Sociology” course and in alignment with the “Law and Order” initiative, first-year students at KAFU attended an online lecture by Azamat S. Boronchiev, an attorney from the Kyrgyz Republic who previously served for 25 years as a senior lecturer in the Department of Constitutional Law at the Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.

The guest lecture focused on the topic of “Forms of Government.” Azamat S. Boronchiev explained the concept and key characteristics of various forms of government, detailing their specific types and how they function within modern states.

In the context of the “Sociology” course, the state is examined as a fundamental social institution, while the form of government is viewed as a method for organizing public authority and managing the interaction between the state and society. The lecture helped students gain a deeper understanding of how political institutions influence social processes, social stability, and the maintenance of law and order.

During the cultural and educational segment of the session, the speaker shared insights into public life, national traditions, and public holidays in the Kyrgyz Republic. This broadened the students’ understanding of the culture, values, and social characteristics of this neighboring nation.

The lecture helped reinforce knowledge within the “Sociology” curriculum, fostered comparative and interdisciplinary thinking, contributed to the development of the students’ legal culture, and strengthened international academic ties.

We extend our gratitude to Azamat S. Boronchiev for an informative and engaging lecture, and for his willingness to share his professional and pedagogical expertise!
