International Leadership Academy: Meeting with the Leader of Time Club Garage
On May 31, 2025, the participants of the International Leadership Academy, organized by Kazakh-American Free University in collaboration with Co-Serve International (Portland, Oregon, USA), visited the time club Garage — “Leaders’ Club” in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The meeting was held with the founder of the club, Elvira Allakhverdiyeva — an entrepreneur, business coach, and owner of the leaders’ club for children. Elvira spoke to the Academy participants about leadership during crisis, mentorship, leader’s mindset and growth, decision-making, and teamwork. The interactive format of the meeting allowed students to ask questions and directly discuss ideas.
This year’s International Leadership Academy has brought together participants from five countries: the USA, Afghanistan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan. Over several weeks, the students engage with outstanding examples of leadership in Kazakhstan, visit leading organizations, meet successful leaders, and learn how leaders develop the people and teams around them.
This meeting became an important step in achieving the Academy’s goals: developing personal and professional leadership potential, strengthening international connections, improving English language skills, and mastering new approaches to management.
We are proud that Kazakh-American Free University serves as a platform for shaping a new generation of leaders ready to change the world for the better!
