Invited Speaker Alex Babiniec at KAFU
You know that feeling when one conversation can change your perspective on everyday things? On March 30, 2026, a series of meetings with guest speaker Alex Babiniec began at KAFU. Alex is a social worker and trainer for the international organization Co-Serve International, and this is his second visit from Aurora, Colorado.
He is conducting a series of classes entitled “An Adventure in Becoming Your True Self” for students in the Foreign Languages and Translation Studies programs. The meetings discuss practical and important topics for every student: how to choose your path, gain confidence, and learn to adapt to change. Alex Babiniec shares his experience on how to perceive life’s challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities for development.
The first classes were held in an open dialogue format. Students actively participate in the discussion, asking questions and sharing their thoughts about future careers, goals, and doubts. It’s not just a classic lecture, but a useful and honest conversation.
We’re delighted to welcome Alex back to our university. These meetings provide students with an excellent opportunity to discuss issues of self-determination and receive support from an experienced mentor. The interactive lecture series will run until April 10th.
