IV Republican Distance Olympiad in Tourism
On October 27, 2022, the scientific and educational center “Inn & Science Asia”, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Tourism, held the IV Republican Distance Olympiad among 1-4th year-university students of the educational program “Tourism”.
The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase the interest and deepen the knowledge and skills of students in the field of tourism.
The Olympiad consisted of two rounds:
- I round – presentation. The participants of the Olympiad prepared a presentation on the suggested topic.
- II round – open questions, test and cases. The participants of the Olympiad answered three open-ended questions, suggesting a complete and detailed answer, and solved a case on a given topic.
The Olympiad was attended by Aidana Zakuova , a 4th year student, Artem Glushakov , a 1st year student and Sergey Prosin, a 3rd year student of the EP “Tourism” of the Kazakh-American Free University.
The scientific supervisors were the senior lecturers of the Department of Business Araylym Kalieva and Madina Aitkazina.
According to the results of the IV Republican Distance Olympiad, the team of the Kazakh-American Free University took the 1st place.
