Journalism Students Attend Seminar at KAFU

On September 9, 2026, Kazakhstan-American Free University hosted a seminar for first-year students of the Journalism educational program.

The speaker of the meeting was practicing journalist Indira Kakimova, a representative of the public association “Human’s Hope” and head of the “Jastar Soilesin” project, implemented with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

During the seminar, students discussed current issues in the development of journalism, the specifics of professional work in a changing media environment, as well as prospects for further cooperation.

The meeting gave students an opportunity to communicate with an experienced media professional, broaden their understanding of modern journalism, and gain practical knowledge that complements their academic studies.
