KAFU Holds a Workshop on Self-Regulation and Stress Management Techniques

On April 9, 2026, the Kazakh-American Free University held a workshop on self-help techniques for regulating emotional states and managing chronic stress. The event was led by Gulzhan A. Dussipova, a rehabilitation therapist at FIT LLC, who presented professional methods for managing psychosomatic and emotional stress. The workshop, organized for first-year students under the guidance of a senior lecturer in the KAFU Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, enabled them to explore the development of key professional competencies. Participants, including psychology students, mastered applied self-regulation tools, learned to recognize signs of accumulated stress, and applied effective methods to restore inner balance. This format of interaction between medicine and psychology helped students gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms for managing their own well-being and receive valuable advice from a practicing specialist.
