KAFU Instructor Participates in Regional August Conference
The event was held at “Comprehensive School No. 40” of the Ust-Kamenogorsk City Education Department. It was organized by the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development “Örken.”
As part of the section “Priority Areas for Education System Development in the 2026-2027 Academic Year: Improving the Quality of Education and Developing Reading Literacy,” Polina A. Kulik presented a paper entitled “Developing Critical Reading Skills in the Age of Artificial Intelligence as a Condition for the Formation of an Intelligent Nation.”
In her presentation, the KAFU teacher emphasized the particular importance of critically understanding information in the context of the rapid development of artificial intelligence and modern digital technologies.
Participants in the breakout session included methodologists from district and city education departments, deputy directors for academic affairs, Kazakh and Russian language teachers, and librarians from educational institutions. The event served as a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experiences, and discussion of current development trends in the education system.
