KAFU Master’s Student Completes International Internship in the USA

Sabina Bakiyeva, a Master’s student specializing in Russian Language and Literature at the Kazakhstan-American Free University (KAFU), has completed an international educational program in the United States.

From July 16 to August 2, 2026, the “2026 Servant Leadership Academy”—an intensive program organized by the university’s long-standing international partner, Co-Serve International—took place in Portland, Oregon.

During the internship, participants studied leadership concepts and practical models through the example of various U.S. commercial and non-profit organizations, exchanged experiences, and developed cross-cultural skills.

Upon successful completion of the program in Portland, Oregon, Sabina Bakiyeva was awarded an official certificate of distinction.
