KAFU Master’s Student Participates in an International Hockey Camp and Coaching Seminar

From April 20 to 24, 2026, Naiman Y. Dzhunussov, a first-year master’s student in the 7M04106 “Sports Management” program at the Kazakh-American Free University, participated in a training camp and coaching seminar held in Astana under the direction of Boris Dorozhenko.

Boris Dorozhenko is an international hockey coach specializing in developing individual athletes’ skills and skating techniques. He is the founder of the Next Generation Hockey school (USA) and is known for his work with professional hockey players, including National Hockey League players such as Auston Matthews.

The camp and seminar explored modern approaches to organizing the training process, methods for improving athletes’ physical and technical preparedness, and the specifics of player development at various stages of athletic development. Participation in the event allowed Naiman E. Dzhunussov to expand his professional knowledge and gain practical experience in the field of sports training.
