KAFU Opens Up Opportunities: Meeting with Graduates of the Abai College
On May 5, 2026, the Kazakhstan-American Free University held an inspiring meeting with graduates of the Abai East Kazakhstan Humanitarian College.
From the very first minutes, participants immersed themselves in the university atmosphere through a presentation video and then had the opportunity to personally познакомиться with the KAFU team and its educational environment.
The President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of continuous education and personal development in the modern world.
Particular attention was drawn to the speech by Vice President for International Programs and Cooperation Daniel Ballast. He spoke about academic mobility programs, studying abroad, and the opportunities that international experience opens up for students.
The First Vice President, Zhasulan Y. Baikenov, presented KAFU and the SmartStartKAFU project, highlighting modern educational opportunities available at the university.
The Dean of the Faculty of Accelerated Educational Programs, Nadezhda M. Shefer, introduced participants to accelerated learning formats, while the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Asem N. Nurlanova, presented the educational programs offered by the departments.
Azamat B. Berdibekov, Head of the Marketing and Admissions Department, provided detailed information about admission requirements for college graduates and the key stages of the admission process.
The university’s educational programs, designed to meet the demands of the modern labor market and provide real career prospects, sparked particular interest among the participants.
The meeting concluded with an engaging dialogue, during which participants asked questions and received personalized consultations from university representatives.
