KAFU Student at the International Youth Festival 2026
In September 2026, the International Youth Festival 2026 took place in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The program featured approximately 800 educational, cultural, and social events, involving 450 speakers, 2,000 performers, and 2,000 volunteers.
The festival program covered seven thematic areas: human development, the source of life, technological leadership, highways of the future, cultural code, modern life, and daily living. Participants attended lectures, discussions, creative events, and concerts; they explored youth initiatives and connected with peers from various countries.
Victoria Muksimova, a first-year Journalism student at the Kazakh-American Free University, participated in the festival. In Yekaterinburg, she took part in educational and cultural activities, met representatives of the youth community from different countries, and gained valuable experience in international interaction.
Participating in the festival allowed Victoria to discover modern youth projects and initiatives, learn about the topics currently interesting the younger generation, and observe how young people from different countries find common ground for communication, collaboration, and the implementation of new ideas.
