KAFU Students Supported the Campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”


On April 26, 2025, as part of the Republican environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”, students of the Kazakh-American Free University took an active part in the citywide clean-up day. Together with the Kazakhstan Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives “ECOJER” and the Department of Ecology for the East Kazakhstan Region, they cleaned up the territory from an illegal dump that had formed within the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Students of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology took part in the clean-up day. Their concern, initiative and willingness to contribute to the protection of the environment became an example of environmental responsibility of young people.
Such actions contribute to the formation of an environmental culture, unite the efforts of the state, public organizations and educational institutions to solve urgent problems of environmental protection.
The Kazakh-American Free University expresses gratitude to all participants of the campaign for their active civic position and desire to make our city cleaner and more comfortable to live in.
