KAFU Students Visit the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department Museum

On October 2, 2026, students from the “Jurisprudence” and “Law and Law Enforcement” programs at the Department of Law and International Relations of the Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU) visited the Museum of the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department.

During the tour, the students learned about the history and evolution of the region’s internal affairs agencies. They showed particular interest in archival photographs, books and albums, police uniforms, and other exhibits illustrating various stages of law enforcement operations.

The tour was lively and informative. Students actively asked questions about the history of internal affairs agencies, the specifics of police service, and the professional duties of officers, receiving detailed answers in return.

The visit enabled the students to broaden their professional horizons, supplement the theoretical knowledge gained during their studies, and gain a deeper understanding of the role internal affairs agencies play in upholding the rule of law, maintaining public order, and ensuring public safety.

We extend our gratitude to the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department for their cooperation and for organizing such an interesting and educational tour!
