KAFU Took Part in the Meeting of the Women’s Wing of the AMANAT Party with Young Scientists of the East Kazakhstan Region
On April 4, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University took part in a meeting organized by the Women’s Wing of the AMANAT Party together with the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University. The event was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk and brought together representatives of the party and young scientists from the leading universities of the region – KAFU, EKTU and EKU.
The program of the event included a tour of the innovative scientific centers of EKTU and a round table on the topic “The Role of Young Scientists in the Science of Kazakhstan”. As part of the round table, a representative of KAFU, a young scientist Marzhan N. Tazhiyeva, made a report on the role of women in science and higher education in Kazakhstan. In her speech, she emphasized the significant contribution of women scientists to the development of national science, outlined key challenges and prospects, and shared KAFU’s experience in supporting gender equality and developing academic leadership. KAFU’s participation in such events emphasizes the university’s active position in developing the scientific potential of young people and promoting dialogue between science, education, and socio-political institutions of the country.
