Круглый стол «Роль деловых женщин в обществе»

On March 4, 2025, a Round Table on the topic “The Role of Business Women in Society” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University. The event was attended by women who have achieved success in their personal and professional plans. Also the students of the “Regional Specialized School-Lyceum for Children Gifted in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science” took part in the event.

Among the speakers of the Round Table were representatives of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Almaty, Astana, Tashkent, Bishkek, Pavlodar and Arkalyk, as well as experts from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the USA.

The meeting was opened by KAFU Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Natakya P. Urazova. She noted that the university actively holds such extracurricular activities aimed at the comprehensive development of students. Natalya P. Urazova congratulated all the women on the upcoming International Women’s Day and wished the speakers successful performances. The first speaker was the famous kobyz player, teacher of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, Lyailya E. Tazhibayeva. Among her achievements and titles, we can highlight:

• Record holder of the Book of Records of Kazakhstan: the first in the world to perform a musical piece on the kobyz during a parachute jump from a height of 3,500 m;

• Winner of gold medals at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles (USA);

• Laureate of international and national competitions, including the XIX Republican Competition of Young Performers and the III International Competition of Creative Youth “Shabyt”;

• Co-creator of the world’s first electric kobyz;

• Teacher of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory with many years of experience, who trained laureates of national competitions;

• Founder of the International Championship of Performers on Kobyz and Related Instruments, which has been held since 2020 and brings together musicians from all over the world.

In her speech, Lyailya Tazhibaeva called on students to develop their creative and musical abilities.

Private Bailiff of the Regional Chamber of Private Bailiffs of the East Kazakhstan Region, Bakyt T. Sanatova, shared her experience in the field of jurisprudence and recommended that students devote as much time as possible to their studies in order to become true professionals.

Lazzat N. Khamzina, General Director of the “Biryuza” construction company (Ust-Kamenogorsk), advised young people not to wait for the “perfect” job, but to gain experience in various work positions and continuously improve their professional skills.

Aizhan B. Sataeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of National and International Law of the Turan-Astana University, Master of Laws, Legal Advisor, Member of the Chamber of the “Justus” Law Firm, noted that life is not always predictable, so it is important to maintain flexibility and mobility in different situations.

Irina A. Golovchenko, Head of the foreign languages ​​department, English teacher at the “Brig” Private Business School (Ust-Kamenogorsk), encouraged students to study languages ​​and develop creatively. Together with her partner, she demonstrated a fiery bachata to the audience.

Dina U. Papieva, captain, head of the consultation and clarification sector of the taxpayer service department of the State Tax Service for the Oktyabrsky District of Bishkek, spoke online. She encouraged students to be firm, persistent and not to be afraid of life’s difficulties. In addition, Dina Papieva recited a poem of her own composition.

Ramazanova Aigul Kalyikanovna, teacher-psychologist of the KGU “Ust-Kamenogorsk College No. 1” of the UO VKO under the KUIS “Institution No. 22” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk), conducted a short training session to get to know each other and emphasized that developing stress resistance is one of the key factors for professional success.

Ulzana Kh. Rakhimova, senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Procedure Law, PhD of the Tashkent State University of Law, shared information in a remote format about the events held in the Republic of Uzbekistan to protect women’s rights.

Jamilya E. Taychik, Vice-Dean for educational and social work at Margulan University (Pavlodar), currently studying under the Bolashak program in the United States, advised students to seriously study English in order to travel freely around the world. She also congratulated all the ladies present on the upcoming March 8.

Nargul K. Nurgazieva, methodologist, artist of the “Daryn” State Enterprise of the State Institution “Department of Culture, Language Development, Sports and Physical Education” of the Ulansky District, a graduate of KAFU, performed the song “Ana turaly zhyr” and shared advice on developing artistic abilities.

Kymbat A. Kenzhegarina, organizer of leisure and head of the choreographic group from the city of Arkalyk, performed remotely. She spoke about her experience as a choreographer and shared pedagogical developments in the field of choreography.

The results of the round table were summed up by the senior lecturer of the Department of Law and International Relations of KAFU Saveliy A. Muzhchil. He noted that KAFU, which is an educational, scientific and cultural center, hosts many interesting events, and congratulated all the ladies present on the upcoming International Women’s Day.
