Media Practice at the International Level

From April 7 to 16, 2025, students of the EP “Journalism” of the Kazakh-American Free University took part in a media project led by Max Fuhrmann, a representative of the international company Start 2 Group (Germany).

The project was timed to coincide with the XV International Forum of Young Scientists “Modern Scientific Directions: from Applied Research to Innovations”, which was held from April 8 to 12, 2025, at KAFU in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

As part of the Forum, students were engaged in the creation of photo and video content covering the key events of the event, including plenary sessions, scientific discussions, and seminars. One of the highlights of the project was an interview with Max Fuhrmann, which the students recorded themselves, demonstrating a high level of preparation and professional approach.

Under the guidance of Max Fuhrmann, they not only acquired practical skills in media production but also immersed themselves in real work on information support for a significant scientific event.

This project became a vivid example of practice-oriented learning, which allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, develop professional competencies, and consciously build their career path. Working in the conditions of a real event increased the students’ motivation and strengthened their understanding of the role of journalism in covering science and innovation.

We thank Max Fuhrmann for his contribution to the development of the educational project and support of future journalists!
