Meeting with a Representative of the East Kazakhstan Region Prosecutor’s Office under the “Law and Order” Program
On October 15, 2026, the Kazakh-American Free University hosted an informational session for students of the “Law” academic program as part of the “Law and Order” (“Заң мен тәртіп”) initiative. The session featured V. A. Alexandrov, Acting Head of the Human Resources Department at the Prosecutor’s Office of the East Kazakhstan Region.
The meeting focused on the process of joining the prosecution authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the requirements for candidates, the nature of professional duties, and career development opportunities within the prosecution system.
V. A. Alexandrov outlined the key stages of the candidate selection process, as well as the requirements regarding education, professional skills, and personal qualities expected of future employees. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of high-quality legal training, personal responsibility, integrity, strict adherence to the rule of law, and the maintenance of high professional ethical standards in the work of prosecutors.
During an open dialogue, students had the opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of service, professional requirements, and employment prospects following graduation.
Such meetings allow aspiring lawyers to gain insight into the practical aspects of the profession, better understand the expectations placed on specialists within the law enforcement and legal system, and identify potential paths for their future professional development.
Holding this event as part of the “Law and Order” program also contributes to enhancing the legal literacy of young people, fostering a legal culture, and promoting respect for the law.
