New Horizons for Cooperation between KAFU and Cumberland University

The Kazakh-American Free University continues to strengthen its partnership with Cumberland University in Tennessee, USA. We present an article published by Cumberland University about the KAFU leadership visit to Cumberland earlier this year.

Today, the Kazakh-American Free University is actively collaborating with Cumberland University President Dr. Paul Stumb, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Mark Hanshaw, and Professor of History Dr. Sean McDaniel, creating new opportunities for academic exchange between our universities.

KAFU plans to send its students to Cumberland after the conclusion of the current academic year. In May 2026, a group of Cumberland University students will visit the Kazakh-American Free University as part of an exchange program dedicated to the history and culture of Central Asia. This program will be implemented jointly with KAFU students.
