Official Visit of Representatives of International Organization REI to KAFU

On April 16, 2025, an official meeting with representatives of the international non-governmental organization “Resource Exchange International” was held at the Kazakh-American Free University. Heads of university departments and heads of structural units also took part in the event.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for further cooperation and expansion of academic cooperation. In particular, it was about exchange programs for teaching staff, attracting specialists from the USA, as well as the possibility of sending KAFU teachers to American universities. In addition, options for attracting foreign students and graduate students to study at KAFU were discussed.

The REI delegation included:

  • Ronald Wiley is a regional director of REI.
  • Jeanine Wiley is an employee of the organization,
  • Randal Bruins, Ph.D., ENACTUS consultant, volunteer,
  • Timothy Moore — engineer-architect, project manager, volunteer,
  • Wendy Moore is a communications specialist, professional editor and writer, volunteer,
  • Travis Williamson is an IT programmer and volunteer.

The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Participants identified key directions for future cooperation. KAFU expresses gratitude to the REI delegation for the visit and interest in the development of joint educational initiatives.
