Oskemen – A Drug-Free City!

On September 16, a large-scale citywide campaign “Ust-Kamenogorsk — A City Without Drugs” was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, bringing together young people, city residents, government representatives, members of the public, volunteers, and activists.

The event was organized by the youth wing “Zhastar Rukhy” of the “Adilet” Party, together with the Department for Combating Drug-Related Crime of the East Kazakhstan Region Police Department.

An important part of the campaign was an appeal to young people to make conscious choices in favor of a healthy lifestyle, sports, education, and active civic engagement. Preventing drug-related offences is a shared responsibility of the government, society, and every individual.

Students of Kazakhstan-American Free University actively participated in the campaign, demonstrating their civic engagement and concern for the health, safety, and future of young people.

Initiatives like this are particularly important for developing a culture of responsibility among young people, helping them understand the consequences of drug use and distribution, and encouraging them to build their lives around the values of health, personal development, and positive contribution to society.

Today, each of us can make a choice in favor of a life free from drugs — a choice in favor of health, opportunities, and a happy future!

Together, we are creating a safer environment for young people and for our entire city!
