Personal Identity and Self-Realization as the Foundation of Professional Success for Young Scientists
On April 9, 2026, as part of the XVI International Forum of Young Scientists “Modern Scientific Directions: From Applied Research to Innovation,” a guest lecture was held at KAFU. The speaker was the university’s international partner, Alexander Yan Babinets — a social worker and trainer at the international organization Co-Serve International (Aurora, Colorado, USA). The topic of the meeting — “Personal Identity and Self-Realization as the Foundation of a Young Scientist’s Professional Success” — generated strong interest among the participants.
During the lecture, an active dialogue unfolded on how a deep understanding of one’s true self influences scientific productivity and leadership qualities. Alexander Babinets shared international experience in the field of social development, emphasizing the importance of authenticity for researchers working at the intersection of science and innovation.
The interactive format of the lecture allowed students and young scientists not only to gain valuable insights into the development of soft skills, but also to discuss the ethical aspects of modern leadership. The event became an important part of the forum’s rich program, highlighting the significance of an interdisciplinary approach in training the next generation of professionals.
