Preventing religious extremism and terrorism

On March 5, 2024, at the Kazakh-American Free University, together with the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion (CIPR), an explanatory and informational conversation was held for first-year students on the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.

During the lecture, articles of regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the regulation of religious relations in society, as well as the danger of accessing religious sites with destructive elements in the Internet space, were explained. The students were also shown video materials on the topic of the conversation. Students actively participated in the conversation and received complete answers to pressing questions. Information and explanatory work for young people in this direction will continue.
