¿Qué tipo de turista eres? as part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” initiative
As part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” programme, Poltoranina A.S., a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages, conducted an event entitled “¿Qué tipo de turista eres?” (“What Kind of Tourist Are You?”) for fourth-year students during their Spanish language class.
During the session, students explored different types of tourism, discussed the impact of mass tourism on the environment, and examined the importance of responsible attitudes towards natural and cultural landmarks. Particular attention was paid to the principles of sustainable tourism, environmental awareness, and the personal responsibility of every traveller for protecting the environment.
The practical part of the event involved creating themed posters promoting eco-friendly tourism and encouraging a more considerate attitude towards nature. Working on their projects, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, apply their Spanish language skills, and present their own ideas for preserving natural heritage.
The event contributed to the development of students’ language and communication skills, broadened their environmental awareness, and encouraged a more conscious approach to travel and environmental protection.
Travelling is not only about discovering the world, but also about caring for its future!
