Results of the Section “Current Issues in Language and Journalism”

On April 14, 2026, at the Kazakhstan-American Free University, within the framework of the XVI International Forum of Young Scientists “Modern Scientific Directions: From Applied Research to Innovation,” the session “Current Issues in Language and Journalism” was held.

Participants presented the results of their research in the following areas:

• Artificial Intelligence;
• Linguistics and teaching methodology;
• Transformation of journalism and digital technologies;
• The influence of social media and the formation of public opinion.

Special attention was given to the use of AI in mass media, video content creation, and the issue of fake news.

Section results:
1st place: Orynbayeva Makpal, Orazalykyzy Balausa, Seitmurat Dilnaz, Sagiolda Aiaulym, Korgau Dilyara, Tleuzhanova Takhmina;
2nd place: Nysanova Kuralai, Serik Aiaulym, Shalabayeva Aimaral, Seitkumarova Dilnaz, Sovetkhanova Elmira;
3rd place: Sayankyzy Sayazhan, Sarkytpayeva Aizagul.

The work of the section demonstrated a high level of student preparation and their strong interest in research activities.
