Scientists of KAFU Honored with Awards on Science Day in East Kazakhstan Region

On April 10, 2026, a meeting of the Regional Scientific and Technological Council was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk. As part of the event, an award ceremony took place dedicated to the professional holiday — Science Day.

Among the award recipients were scientists from the Kazakhstan-American Free University. For their contribution to the development of science and education, as well as their active research activities, the following were honored:
• Asem Nurlanova
• Ilona Bordianu
• Aizhan Mukhamadieva

The ceremony was part of the meeting program, which included speeches by representatives of universities and research organizations, as well as discussions of current scientific projects and issues related to the implementation of innovations in production.

The awards received by KAFU scientists confirm the high level of the university’s scientific school and its significant role in the development of the scientific potential of the East Kazakhstan Region.
