Sport as a Foundation for Discipline and Responsibility

On September 28, 2026, an event aimed at promoting the principles of the “Law and Order” program was held at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. The event was attended by lecturers from the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kazakhstan-American Free University, Sh. Nurlatkyzy and B. Darybayev, as well as third-year students of the Physical Education and Sport (IP) educational program.

During the event, students became familiar with methods of athletics training for young athletes aged 10 to 13 and completed practical tasks aimed at mastering and improving basic movement techniques.

The main objective of the session was to develop among young people not only sports training skills but also such important qualities as discipline, responsibility, compliance with established rules and safety requirements, and mutual respect. Participants were explained that every sports exercise is based on specific rules and requirements, making discipline in sport one of the ways of demonstrating respect for the law and public order in everyday life.

Future teachers gained practical experience with effective methods of working with young athletes, learned how to properly organize the training process, and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of following safety rules and developing sports skills in children.

The principles of the “Law and Order” program form an important foundation for stability and safety in society. Developing these values among the younger generation through sport contributes to fostering responsibility, respect for rules and discipline, as well as a commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Such activities allow future teachers not only to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience but also to develop professional responsibility. For an educator, maintaining discipline and complying with legal requirements are integral parts of the educational process. The experience gained by the students will serve as a foundation for fostering respect for the law, discipline, responsibility, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle among children in their future teaching careers.
