Students of the Dual-Degree Program Choose KAFU for Their Fall Semester
An informational meeting was held in Germany for students of the international dual-degree Master’s program in Management and Information Technology, implemented in partnership with Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (WHZ) and partner universities, including the Kazakh-American Free University.
As part of this program, students have the opportunity to complete part of their studies at one of the partner universities. The students chose the Kazakh-American Free University as their host university for the semester.
The meeting with the students was led by Serik M. Abilov, Director of the KAFU Department of International Cooperation. He explained in detail the educational process at KAFU, the specifics of studying in the upcoming fall semester, the format for interacting with faculty, as well as the procedure for preparing documents and obtaining a visa for stay in Kazakhstan. Special attention was paid to academic and organizational issues: the structure of the upcoming semester, the conditions for studying in a hybrid format, administrative support for international students, and issues related to adaptation and living in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
A total of 26 students chose to study at KAFU as part of the dual-degree program. In the next fall semester, they will study at the Kazakh-American Free University in a hybrid format.
KAFU’s participation in the dual-degree master’s program in Management and Information Technology is an important area of the university’s international academic cooperation. The program is aimed at training specialists who combine knowledge in management, information technology, business administration, and intercultural communication.
