Summing Up the Results of the Project “Major-Specialized Class of KAFU-2025”

On May 15, 2025, the Kazakh-American Free University held a ceremonial summation of the results of the educational project “Major-Specialized Class of KAFU” – a significant initiative aimed at supporting the professional orientation of high school students in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk and the East Kazakhstan region.

Modern society requires the younger generation to have flexible thinking, a critical approach, and a continuous pursuit of knowledge. That is why the succession model “school – college – university”, implemented by KAFU, is becoming the basis for training future leaders. Within the framework of this model, during the 2024-2025 academic year, schoolchildren of the 10th and 11th grades participated in the project “Major-Specialized Class of KAFU”.

The project gave the children a unique opportunity to get to know the university long before entering. The schoolchildren attended master classes and lectures, participated in interactive classes, communicated with teachers, and got acquainted with KAFU’s educational programs directly.

The initiator of the project was the President of KAFU – Yerezhep A. Mambetkaziyev. On his initiative, specialized classes were organized free of charge, which ensured the availability of participation for all motivated students.

At the end of the academic year, the project participants were awarded diplomas of completion of the specialized class of KAFU, providing the right to personal discounts upon admission to the university.

The project “KAFU Major-Specialized Classes” became the first step towards a conscious professional choice for many schoolchildren. It proved that quality education can begin even before entering a university, with the right motivation, support, and open doors.
