The best project on prevention of internet bullying was created in East Kazakhstan
Students of the Kazakhstan-American University in Ust-Kamenogorsk developed an excellent project in the field of IT. Foreigners are interested in it. The first vice-president of the university, Zhasulan Baikenov, spoke about this in detail at the ceremony held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of this higher educational institution, Altainews.kz correspondent reports.
“The IT project of our students is aimed at the prevention of Internet bullying. Three of our students jointly developed the Nortrom program, which is able to recognize aggressive and questionable content in social networks and messengers using neural networks. This program is aimed at identifying issues of online bullying and is an important tool for parents whose children actively use the Internet. “We presented the project to the mayor of SKO Ermek Kosherbayev, who worked out the program and proposed to create a platform for real-time work with the participation of leading specialists in this field,” said Zhasulan Baikenov.
It should be noted that today other countries are allocating necessary funds for this project and proposing to implement it.
Today is the 30th anniversary of the Kazakhstan-American Free University. There are a small number of citizens who took the sovereignty of the country and started working for tomorrow in the turbulent times. It should be noted that one of them is Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Yerezhep Alkhairuly. Thanks to a veteran who has been a rector for more than thirty years, this university has achieved many successes in the field of education development in Kazakhstan.
“When this higher educational institution was opened for the first time, only 25 students and four teachers worked. Despite this, the university’s specialists worked hard and achieved today’s positive indicators,” reminded the first vice-president of the university, Zhasulan Baikenov.
