Third Cohort of Master’s Students from India Begins Studies at KAFU

In October 2026, the Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU) welcomed its third cohort of master’s students from India, enrolled in the international dual-degree master’s program, “Management and Information Technology.” The program is delivered in partnership with the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and integrates the academic and practice-oriented approaches of both institutions.

This new intake marks the continued growth of an international program that has already brought several cohorts of foreign master’s students to KAFU. Upon their arrival in Kazakhstan, the students completed an orientation program and began their coursework in accordance with the academic calendar.

The program is designed to develop competencies at the intersection of management and modern information technology. Throughout their studies, students explore topics such as IT project management, business analytics, digital modeling, and both project and international management. Instruction is conducted in English by faculty from KAFU and representatives from the German partner university.

A key feature of the program is the opportunity to earn two degrees—one from the Kazakh-American Free University and one from the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences. This format enables graduates to combine expertise in management and information technology, broadening their prospects for professional growth and an international career.

KAFU provides support to international master’s students during their adaptation period, ensures suitable conditions for study and living, and offers full access to the university’s educational and campus infrastructure.

The arrival of this third cohort of students from India underscores the consistent development of KAFU’s international cooperation and highlights the strong demand for the “Management and Information Technology” dual-degree program among international students.
