V Republican Distance Olympiad

On April 23-24, 2024, the scientific and educational center “Inn & Science Asia” held the V Republican Distance Olympiad among university students of 1-2 and 3-4 years of the EP “State and Local Governance” and “Management”.

The goal of the Olympiad was to increase interest and deepen the knowledge and skills of students of economic specialties, as well as management competencies.

39 teams from various universities in Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad, such as East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, Kazakh-Russian International University, KRU named after A. Baitursynov, etc.

From the Kazakh-American Free University, Ekaterina Paleva, a 3rd year student of the Management program, took part under the guidance of a senior lecturer at the Department of Business, Yulia Vladimirovna Trofimova.

The Olympics consisted of two stages. The first stage involved writing an essay on a chosen topic: “Features of a woman’s business career.” The second stage included answering open questions, solving a test, and completing a case assignment.

According to the results of the Olympiad, with a score of 69 points, the third place was taken.
