30 Years of KAFU: KAFU President Met with the US Consul General

The President of the Kazakh-American Free University, Erezhep A. Mambetkaziev, met with Mrs. Michelle Yerkin, US Consul General in Almaty. This meeting was organized as a courtesy visit to confirm long-term ties between KAFU and representatives of the international educational community.

Academician Erezhep Mambetkaziev, a prominent figure in the field of higher education and founder of the Kazakh-American Free University, maintains extensive ties with both Kazakhstan and the global academic community.

Under his leadership, the Kazakh-American Free University was founded in 1994 with the goal of providing quality education in three languages, in an atmosphere of international cooperation and cultural development.

During the meeting with Mrs. Michelle Yerkin, Erezhep Mambetkaziyev shared the history and achievements of the university, which for 30 years has been an example of successful cross-cultural educational exchange and international cooperation. In turn, Mrs. Yerkin expressed her recognition of the university in the field of education and cultural exchange.

This meeting was another step towards strengthening ties between our university and international educational institutions. We are proud to represent Kazakhstan on the international stage and continue to work to expand our educational horizons.
