A KAFU Professor Successfully Completes an Internship at the Goethe-Institut in Germany
From June 28 to July 11, Yelena V. Shikhotova, Director of the KAFU Linguistic Center and Senior Lecturer in the KAFU Department of Foreign Languages, received an international scholarship from the Goethe-Institut and successfully completed a two-week internship at the Goethe-Institut in Munich, Germany.
The program focused on “Methodology and Didactics of Teaching German to Young People” and brought together 17 teachers from 11 countries: China, Brazil, Vietnam, Spain, Lithuania, Georgia, Australia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Ukraine, and Indonesia.
These two weeks of intensive and productive work provided a unique opportunity to exchange professional experiences with colleagues from various countries, learn about modern German language teaching methods, participate in practical seminars and master classes, and discuss current approaches to teaching young people.
The knowledge, ideas, and international experience gained will be used in the future work of the KAFU Linguistic Center and in the training of future specialists, contributing to the implementation of modern educational technologies and improving the quality of foreign language teaching.
We thank the Goethe-Institut for the opportunity for professional growth, the inspiring international atmosphere, and the invaluable collaborative experience!
