Academic Mobility of KAFU Students at the Tashkent State University of Law
Within the Memorandum of Understanding between the Tashkent State University of Law and the Kazakh-American Free University, on February 20, 2023, KAFU students of the educational programs “Jurisprudence”, “Law and Law Enforcement” Pavel Aleshin, Nikita Ustyantsev , Gleb Cherkashin and Meyirim Zarlyqanov began their studies within the academic mobility at the partner university – at the Tashkent State Law University (Uzbekistan).
Tashkent State University of Law is the main higher educational institution and scientific and methodological institution for the training of legal personnel in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The University is the leading institution of higher education in Uzbekistan, recognized as one of the national centers of legal sciences and legal education. The university includes 16 specialized and 3 general education departments, the Center for Advanced Training of Legal Personnel, a branch specializing in the training and retraining of legal personnel in the field of crime prevention and public security, as well as an academic lyceum. The university also provides methodological guidance and coordination of the activities of 14 legal colleges (technical schools) that are part of the system of educational institutions of the Ministry of Justice.
On February 22, KAFU students were invited to a meeting with acting rector, Islambek Rustambekov, where special attention was paid to areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education, prospects for the development of academic mobility programs between KAFU and Tashkent State University of Law. Islambek Rustembekov presented to the students the mission, the structure of the university, the opportunities for a rich and fruitful student life.
KAFU students are accommodated in the student hostel and are provided with everything necessary for successful education during the spring semester.
