II Constitutional Readings, Timed to Commemorate Lawyer’s Day in Kyrgyzstan

From June 26 to 28, the II Constitutional Readings were held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic, on the topic: “Constitutional Guarantees of Human Rights and Freedoms: General Theory and Specifics of Ensuring the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Other Vulnerable Categories.”

The event brought together over 110 specialists from the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the People’s Republic of China, and other countries. Participants discussed current issues of the rule of law, human rights protection, and the development of inclusive justice.

Saveliy A. Muzhchil, Head of the Legal Clinic at the Kazakh-American Free University (KAFU) and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law and International Relations, participated in the forum. He presented a report on the panel session entitled “Protecting the Constitutional Rights of Citizens in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The II Constitutional Readings once again confirmed their status as a respected international platform for professional dialogue among lawyers, academics, and practitioners. The forum was a significant contribution to the development of international cooperation, improving legislation, and law enforcement practices in the area of ​​protecting human rights and freedoms.
