KAFU Student Wins International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament

From April 20 to 22, 2026, the XXXII International Youth Freestyle Wrestling Tournament, dedicated to the memory of Honored Coach of the USSR Zhumazhan Akenov, was held in Karaganda. This competition is one of the most significant sporting events, bringing together the strongest young wrestlers.

Amangeldi Yeraly, a second-year student in the 6B01402 “Physical Education and Sports” (IP) program at the Kazakh-American Free University, demonstrated a strong performance and won the tournament in the 57 kg weight class.
