On April 30, 2026, a meeting was held at the Kazakhstan-American Free University with the President of KAFU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerezhep Alkhairovich Mambetkaziev. The meeting focused on students’ participation in international educational programs for 2026.

As part of the selection process, students and master’s degree candidates were introduced who will take part in the Co-Serve International summer programs in the United States. This year, the number of participants has reached a record high, with more than 20 KAFU students traveling abroad for study and internships.

Some students will participate in the Leadership Academy (Oregon, USA), which will take place from July 16 to August 3, 2026. Among the participants are representatives of various academic programs, including Foreign Languages, Translation Studies, International Relations, Law, and Russian Language.

In addition, groups have been formed to take part in business internships in Colorado and Oregon (USA), which will be held from August 3 to September 2, 2026. These programs are aimed at developing professional competencies, practical skills, and intercultural communication.

Moreover, as part of international cooperation, a meeting was previously held with new international students at KAFU. The university has welcomed master’s students from the United States and Nigeria, studying in the fields of International Relations and Management.

The participation of KAFU students in international programs highlights the high level of academic preparation and expands opportunities for academic mobility, professional growth, and international collaboration.
