Responsibility Starts with Me

On September 23, 2026, the Kazakhstan-American Free University hosted an event as part of the “Law and order” initiative titled “Responsibility Starts with Me.”

The participants discussed the importance of complying with laws and legal regulations, as well as each person’s personal responsibility for their decisions and actions. Particular attention was paid to the idea that public order and safety begin with the conscious behavior of every individual. Respect for the law, consideration for others, and a responsible attitude toward one’s duties are important foundations of a law-governed state.

The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue. Participants had the opportunity to express their views, share personal experiences, and discuss current issues related to legal culture.

Events of this kind contribute to the development of civic responsibility and help participants understand that positive changes in society begin with the personal choices of each individual. Indeed, responsibility starts with me.
